There’s a number of ways we can help you advance your career. 

If you are looking for an entry level role that’s emotionally rewarding and provides excellent job stability, we’ve got a Free Certified Nursing Aid (CNA) Training Program on site that’s perfect for those looking to advance their careers.  The CNA plays a vital role in the link between nurses and residents by helping our residents do their daily activities, keeping everything operating optimally to improve outcomes for health, wellness, and overall care.  The program will prepare you for the Nurse Aid competency exam and with our Tuition Assistance for career advancement, you can become a Registered Nurse or Licensed Nurse Practitioner and potentially advance to that level into a position at Gracedale.  We’ve got full time or part time, and 12 hour weekend positions available, plus hourly weekly and weekday bonuses for certain shifts!  We also offer every other weekend positions and overtime for any time worked more than 8 hours per day and for working an entire shift on “off” weekends.  

For the CNA program, classes are scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm for approximately four weeks. New classes, hosted at Gracedale, start every six weeks so you’ll have multiple chances to get started.  In addition, the 125-hour nurse aide training program is approved by the PA Department of Education. 

Each nursing position has a different compensation base, bonus, and shift differential rate to provide a variety of options.
