Long Term Care Facility FAQs
During the pre admission process our admissions department meets with families on a one to one basis to review medical and financial information. Based on each person’s unique needs and circumstances we will give feedback regarding Medicaid eligibility, appropriate room options, and answer any other questions your family has about Gracedale.
Gracedale has an extensive Life Enrichment department to coordinate all the activities for our residents. Regular activities vary from small card games, to large theme parties, to field trips in the community. We make every effort to offer activities daily while following proper safety protocols.
Gracedale recognizes the importance of providing our residents the opportunity to continue practicing their faith. We have a dedicated chapel, a full-time chaplain, and have various visiting religious groups to provide spiritual enrichment for our residents.
Gracedale participates with Pennsylvania Medical Assistance (Medicaid) to help cover costs beyond what our residents are able to afford. During the admissions process we will discuss Medicaid eligibility and help provide insight to what is needed to apply. Gracedale also has a full-time Medicaid Eligibility Coordinator to assist our families as a liaison between our facility and the medical assistance office.
