A Flexible Work/Life Balance is Waiting for You
Where can you find that elusive, flexible work/life balance? If you are in the healthcare industry and looking for a career where you directly impact people in a positive way every day, then look no further than Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
With a mix of full-time, part-time and per diem opportunities available at Gracedale, we can offer careers that allow you to thrive with an excellent pension, competitive pay and benefits for full-time employees, and the chance to make a meaningful difference and connection with others every day. You’ll also find lots of caring, compassion, and support from your fellow employees in addition to the meaningful contacts you’ll have with our residents each day.
When it comes to being a working parent with young children, childcare is often a major component in deciding where and how to work. Luckily, Gracedale now offers on-site daycare at no cost to you, ensuring you peace of mind while you are at work! This option makes juggling the demands of daily child care that much easier for employees with young children and allows for flexibility within that work/life balance.
Finding the time and money to get necessary training can often be hard to find but at Gracedale, we offer several solutions. If you are looking to become a Certified Nursing Aid, we offer free training in addition to tuition reimbursement and tuition assistance to help you. This training, offered on site, helps you have the chance to get hired as a CNA and work at Gracedale. Other ways we build flexibility and work/life balance for our employees are through hourly weekday and weekend bonuses and extra pay through the shift differential for 3:00pm-11:00pm and 11:00pm-7:00am shifts. In addition, the full-time schedule includes four weekdays and every other weekend, while part-time schedules include two weekdays and every other weekend for those employed as CNAs.
Also, did you know, at Gracedale, we provide a tuition assistance program for approved employees to complete a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certificate or Registered Nurse (RN) degree at any accredited college/university in-person or online program? We will pay up to $5,250 per calendar year of the tuition for required courses and books. This allows Gracedale employees to afford an opportunity to obtain a nursing certificate/degree and subsequently obtain positions at the facility as either a LPN or RN.
We believe that this incentive goes a long way toward easing the stress of paying for the training that’s required for entering a new profession and contributes to our flexible work/life balance because it demonstrates that we are an organization that values you and is willing to invest in your success!
We know the importance of providing a flexible work/life balance at Gracedale and strive to provide that for all our employees. As the key to a sustainable and fulfilling career, a true work/life balance environment is one that allows you to blend your personal life with your work, rather than completely separating the two. We do this by creating a friendly, family atmosphere that allows you to bring more focus and energy to your work. We know the importance of maintaining and improving your mental health and not neglecting your personal life so you can create a support system as you advance in your career. When you have time to devote to improving and maintaining your mental health, you have the opportunity for greater mental clarity and less stress, which of course, benefits you in all areas of your life.
At Gracedale, you’ll find we don’t prioritize productivity over well-being and our flexible schedules allow you time to focus on your own physical health. When you have time to focus on your physical health, you are less likely to feel burned out and stressed and your body will feel better.
The end result, we believe, is that you’ll find greater satisfaction at Gracedale as you enjoy pursuing both your career and personal pursuits when you work for an organization that prioritizes your health and well-being. This puts you in the best position to provide excellent, caring service to our residents.
